That's one way to look at it. Another is that "forewarned is forearmed". If a person looks ahead at the possibilities for the future, they're better able to be prepared for whatever might occur. If remote notarization never becomes a 'thing' - and I suspect most of us in this field hope that's the case - then the majority of us will be fine. But if it does, those who have contingency plans in place may be better equipped to survive the change.
