Thanks. Closing finished and we discussed this whole process...as bad as mine was, they have been going back and forth for weeks with this and worse. When it got difficult, they literally passed it off to someone else, both lender and title. It was supposed to have went last week. Now she has to pay the late fee, missing her pay off by 1 day. Bottom line...a nice guy was co signing (Guarantor) who doesn't want to be on title, but assumes all responsibility for paying if she cannot. She has a great credit score, just doesn't have the money on paper to qualify, much like many of us being self employed.
It would have been nice if they had the package in proper order instead of me making an issue and literally dealing with this hours last night trying to figure it out on my own. If I just printed (which I did) and left, they never would have signed what they sent me. The only ones who thanks me were the borrowers for getting it done the proper way. Aggravating that their "underwriters" approved that mess and think it was okay to send to me the way they did.
In one way I hate these kinds of packages and situations, but in another way, I really learned a lot, and unless these come along from time to time, we never grow and move forward in our careers. I think it shows that we care when nobody else seems to, and your right...experience pays and should be noted when they hire us vs newbies. |
