"I am NOT against SS's. I am against being FORCED to give an opinion and then being told "don't contact me again" because I was honest. I call that emotional blackmail."
You are right, knowing that you give honest opinions your friend, the ss, should not have put you on the spot if she wasn't going to accept your answer. If she wanted someone to mirror her thoughts she should have gone somewhere else.
I have not read the post you are referring to and quite frankly I need to get going and won't have a chance until another time , these are my thoughts.
If the ss is not upfront regarding faxbacks everyone loses. The sa now needs to spend more time negotiating after the fact and perhaps even turn down the business , which especially at EOM means she/he could have done another signing in it's place. Resentment/ Frustration builds.
The SS loses, now they have even less time to find another person willing to take the job. If they do it was stressful doign it, for they could be busy getting oter jobs assigned instead. If they don't they look unprofessional with the tcs and lenders. Resentment/frustration builds up.
The borrower will also be frustrated at the end . If it takes 50 sas turning down jobs because they were not straight forward and then they (the ss)finally realize that " wait a minute , we have to compensate for the extra work here" then so be it. Unfortunaltely someone has to start it and get th bad rap.
I will not do the extra work for free. I have to go, running late excuse sp. and grammar errors. My 2 cents worth.
