| While I have utmost confidence in your knowledge of Reg Z and RESPA, please tell me where I'm going wrong. Looking at section b. in your response, it is clearly stated that a creditor will deliver 2 copies of the RTC to each consumer entitled to rescind. My understanding since this was enacted...(I think in 1971 or 72) was that the consumer has 3 days to cancel after they receive their copies of all material disclosures. If they don't receive copies, I take it to mean that they can rescind up to 3 days after they actually get their copies of the 'material disclosures'.....regardless of when that occurs. |
