I get it, sift through all the comments and take what you glean important and useful. I think FEDEX is culpable, but can you get them to take ownership?
Over the years, I have saved a lot of necks of title, escrow, loan officers, loan processors who dropped balls, made big fat missteps, etc., and all I got was "thanks for catching that" and saving the deal before rate lock expired. It is a huge deal to miss a targeted closing date, and expensive as you are learning. I am sorry you're bearing the brunt of this. It doesn't seem fair or just! Sometimes we're the monkey in the middle.
