The Randolph County Board of Elections, in the face of bipartisan opposition to this plan, voter anger, and threatened lawsuits, quickly voted this morning to reject the proposal to close these voting sites, without comment or discussion. The elections consultant who came up with the plan was fired.

Sometimes sunlight really is the best disinfectant.
