Re: I am not in FL and based on your posts seeking direct work

It is the entire fee I charge. I don't discount SS's, nor do I charge more for title companies. I set my price, they pay it. Not getting an "entire fee"? Sure a title company pays the SS lets say $150.00, they take a cut of $50.00 they I get $100.00 which is my standard fee...so I should charge the same as SS? What's the benefit to the title company to do that and hire me directly then?
They have to do more work on the title companies end than going through a service...doesn't make sense for them to do that when they have their services who mess with us, have us on preferred lists, mail out our checks schedules us.
Sure sometimes they offer a little more, but it's few and far between, and can't tell you the last time I worked directly for a title company not through a SS. Even where I used to work in title, and now went back to signings there, they go through a service, and the schedule me through a service. Everythign runs through it's proper channels here.
